Jill Cardinale Segger and Frank Segger own and operate The Pines Inn ~ Lake Placid. They were awarded the Community Champion Award in August of 2015 for their continuation of being a tobacco-free establishment. This family owned and operated inn has been tobacco free for eleven years. Jill noted that since they owned the business, they have always been a non smoking establishment. She also noted that very few people even ask for a smoking room – and "most customers follow our rules." Congratulations to Jill and Frank for their tobacco-free establishment and for their efforts to make our community a safe place to live, work, and play.
